For Serasa, 2006 was a landmark year
with more than 20 public awards for its performance.
Iberoamerican Quality
Award
Serasa was the first and only company to be awarded this prize
for the second time. The prize is awarded by the Iberoamerican Foundation for
Quality Management in recognition of the quality and disseminates the practices
of the best organizations internationally. It includes companies from
South and Central America as
well as Portugal and
Spain.
Best Company to Work
for
Serasa was first in the ranking among The 100 Best Companies
to Work for, published by Epoca magazine and run by the Great Place to Work Institute. The scoring
given to Serasa by its professionals in the questionnaire on which the prize
was based raised the company to the top ranking: for example, the level of
general satisfaction is 91%; toward colleagues, 90%; toward superiors, 87% –
all much higher than average. Questions such as benefits, professional
development, social responsibility and quality of life were also
considered.
Best Annual Report
When the 2005 Serasa Corporate Report was awarded the
8th Abrasca Best Annual Report as the best in Brazil in the Closed Company category, the
aspects considered were transparency, clarity, quality and quantity of
information and innovative character, in both its display presentation and
graphic design. The prize is awarded by the Brazilian Association of Listed
Companies (Abrasca).
4th Best Company for Women to
Work
Companies included in this ranking have 25% or more women on
their staff and their average satisfaction must be at least 71%; a large number
of women in top positions also earned extra points. The survey was done by the
consulting firm Great Place to Work Institute and published in Epoca
magazine.

Management – category of companies with 2,000-4,000 employees
The survey, performed by Valor Carreira magazine in
conjunction with the Hay Group, considered the opinion of the Serasa
professionals on training, remuneration, benefits, safety, working conditions,
style of leadership and running of the company.

Brazil
Exame and Você S/A magazines rank Serasa as one of the best in
this category for the eighth year running. The recognition is the result of
analyzing people management policies and qualitative research with Serasa
professionals.

The study by Exame and Você S/A magazines considered the
successful management model that valorizes its professionals and workplace, and
offers career opportunities.
Model Company by Exame Guide to
Good Corporate Citizenship
The annual publication of Exame magazine disseminates and
encourages best practices of sustainability and corporate
responsibility.

of Corporate Entrepreneurialism
Organized by Exame magazine in partnership with the Brazilian
Institute of Intra-Entrepreneurialism and the consulting firm Pinchot &
Company, the ranking highlights companies that most encourage their employees
to adopt practices relating to innovation and
inter-entrepreneurialism.

E-security category
The prize is awarded by B2B Magazine and E-Consulting
Corporation in acknowledgment of the implementation of best web and information
technology (IT) practices
Outstanding Marketing Prize –
Services category
Organized by the Brazilian Marketing & Business
Association (ABMN) to award companies that make Brazil grow with courage,
creativity and daring. Serasa won with the case of the product “Gerencie
Carteira” (“Portfolio Management”).
Top Social
“Serasa School” helped win this award on being considered a
socially responsible business strategy. The prize is awarded by the Brazilian
Association of Sales and Marketing Executives (ADVB).
HR Top
The prize awarded by ADVB distinguishes companies that
successfully increased their quality and competitiveness through their
strategies, management style and collaborators. “Serasa School” was one of the
11 winning cases in this 14th edition.
Marketing Top
The “Portfolio Management – Furthering Business for Companies
with Risk under Control” case won this prize awarded by ADVB.
The Ten Most Admired Human
Resources Administrators in Brazil - 2006 Outstanding HR Prize
The Human Development directorate was awarded by Gestão &
RH magazine. The magazine considered that Serasa has one of the ten most
admired Human Resources administrators in Brazil and also awarded it the 2006
Outstanding HR Prize for setting up its “Serasa School”.

Forum
Elcio Anibal de Lucca, Serasa CEO, was appointed president of
the Gazeta Mercantil Business Leaders, whose objective is to discuss and
analyze highly relevant structural topics for the development of Brazil through
its top business leaders.
São Paulo Prize of Management
Quality
It is an annual award for the best management systems of São
Paulo organizations. The criteria were inspired on the model of the National
Quality Prize (PNQ). The project is by the São Paulo Institute of Excellence of
Management (IPEG), National Foundation of Quality and São Paulo State
Federation of Industries (Fiesp).
Juscelino Kubitschek Entrepreneur
Cross of Merit
Awarded to 100 personalities that portray merit of honor,
dignity, character, civism, entrepreneurial spirit and are sensitive to
sustainable development and justice in the distribution of Brazilian wealth.
The prize was promoted by the São Paulo Business and Cultural Integration
Center (Cicesp).
