The First and Only Three-Time National Quality Award (PNQ®)
In 2005 Serasa became the first and only three-time National Quality Award®
winner, emphasizing its ten year-old status as a World Class Company.
The National Quality Award®, based on the Baldrige (U.S.) and Deming (Japan)
awards, is based on eight excellence criteria set by the National Quality
Foundation (Fundação Nacional da Quality – FNQ): Leadership; Strategy and
Planning; Customers; Society; Information and Knowledge; People; Processes; and
Results.
7th BEST PLACE TO WORK IN BRAZIL
In a survey by Exame magazine, Serasa was – for the seventh year in a row –
ranked among the Best in Brazil. The ranking involved about 500 applicant
firms and its analysis stages included Serasa's people management policies and
qualitative surveys with Ser Serasa.
2ª BEST PLACE FOR WOMEN TO WORK IN BRAZIL
For the second consecutive time, Serasa was part of this select group, now
in second place. These achievements are the fruit of Serasa's successful
management model that appreciates professionals and invests in the work
environment and in the career opportunities made available.
SERASA AMONG THE 100 BEST PLACES TO WORK IN LATIN
AMERICA
For the second consecutive time, Serasa was selected by the Great Place to
Work survey as one of the best 100 places to work in Latin America. The process
involved about 1,000 firms in seven countries: Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay,
Chile, Peru, Colombia and Mexico.
ONE OF THE BEST PLACES FOR EXECUTIVES IN BRAZIL
Serasa is one of the top-ten in the ranking of the 50 Best Places for
Executives published by Você S.A. magazine and highlighting companies where
directors and managers derive the greatest satisfaction from their work. The
ranking evaluated 196 firms whose executives and professionals made
recommendations for the Great Places to Work Guide.
ONE OF 10 MODEL FIRMS IN THE EXAME GUIDE OF GOOD
CORPORATE CITIZENSHIP
For the sixth consecutive time, Serasa was selected as on of the ten model
fims in the Exame Guide of Good Corporate Citizenship, with particular emphasis
on the Free Citizen Guidance Service. This year, 222 companies from different
industries and regions were part of the survey, based on indicators provided by
the Ethos Institute of Social Responsibility.
SECOND BEST IN PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Serasa second in the Best Firms in People Management survey, by Valor
Carreira magazine in partnership with the Hay Group. The survey examined Ser
Serasa's impression of items such as training and development, compensation,
benefits, security, working conditions, leadership style and firm direction.
Serasa stood out from the remainder in the items “outside relationship” and
“credibility”.
SILVER PLATE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SERASA SOCIAL
PROCESS
In October Serasa received a homage in the São Paulo City Council, having
been delivered the Silver Plate for the implementation of the Serasa Social
Process. This honor is an important acknowledgement of Serasa as a citizen firm
of great importance for the Country's economy.
EXCELLENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
In October the State of Rio De Janeiro’s Institute of Government Policy and Parliamentary Advice
honored Serasa for its excellence in Information
Technology, as well as for its social action, its respect of employees and its
commitment to the Country's development.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PRACTITIONER AWARD 2005
Serasa's Information and Communication Technology Operations Director was
voted by Plano Editorial and Informática Hoje the Information Technology
Practitioner 2005 – Finance segment, in acknowledgement of the relevance of the
IT projects he and his team implemented
B2B QUALITY STANDARD AWARD 2005
Promoted by B2B Magazine in partnership with E-Consulting Corporation and
Camara-e.net, giving Serasa the Digital Certification and E-Security
awards.
CITIZEN FIRM SEAL
Serasa was one of the companies awarded the Citizen Firm Seal 2005/2006.
This award is granted by the São Paulo City Council and its purpose is to
identify the firms with best corporate citizenship alignment as evidenced by
their commitment to ethics and social responsibility and resulting appreciation
of the human factor, the work environment and the community in which the firm
operates.
SERASA OUTPOST AT POUPATEMPO ITAQUERA
ACKNOWLEDGED
The Serasa Outpost set up at Poupatempo Itaquera was acknowledged, with the
other 27 services therein, as a highlight in the São Paulo State Government's
Pouparceiros program.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AWARD IN THE AFRO-DESCENDANTS CATEGORY
Serasa was a highlight in the Social Responsibility Award of the Special
Projects Division of DCI newspaper, winning first place in the Afro-descendants
category, particular note due to the Serasa Social Process. In the Social
Justice/Human Rights category, Serasa was in second place, and third placed in
Impaired Persons. The award was based on interviews with 214 NGOs across
Brazil.
MAXIMUM SCORE IN THE AKATU CORPORATE SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY SCALE
The evaluation is based on a survey of social responsibility practices and
policies that acknowledged Serasa's actions in its relationship with
consumers.
SERASA RECEIVES ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR ITS WOMEN'S HEALTH
PROGRAM
Serasa received ADVB's acknowledgement for its Women's Health Program. The
program involves preventing and diagnosing women's diseases and maintains an
independent structure with a gynecologist, breast-milk collection post,
pregnancy meetings and other initiatives.
DECORATION - "UN PEACEMAKER SÉRGIO VIEIRA DE
MELO" GOLD MEDAL
Serasa was honored with the Acknowledgement Diploma and Gold Meda ("UN
Peacemaker Sérgi oVieria de Mello" in a ceremony at the FECOMÉRCIO theater
in São Paulo.
SOCIAL REPORT AWARD
Serasa's 2004 Corproate Report was among the five finalists of the fourth
edition of this award, whose purpose is to acknowledge the best annual/social
reports published by firms across Brazil. The award had 166 applicant
firms.
7th ABRASCA ANNUAL REPORT AWARD
Serasa's 2004 Corporate Report was among the four finalists of the 7th
Abrasca Annual Report Award in the Private Company category. This year, 73
companies applied for the award.
FERNANDO PINI GRAPHIC EXCELLENCE AWARD
Serasa's 2004 Corporate Report was a finalist, out of 1,573 applicants, of
the Fernando Pini Graphic Excellence Award, regarded as the most important
graphic arts award in Latin America.
SUPER TOP DE MARKETING
Serasa won the award in this event held every five years and whose purpose
is to acknowledge the best Top de Marketing winning cases in the period. The
winning case was Serasa Tele-Sales: A Stratetic Sales Force-Optimizing
Channel.
MARKETING BEST
was one of the winners with the case Gerencie
Carteira – Enabling Additional Business with Risk under Control. The Marketing
Best award is given annually by Editora Referência, the São Paulo Business
School (EAESP-FGV) and Madia Mundo Marketing.
