ONE OF THE 100 BEST PLACES TO WORK IN LATIN
AMERICA
Serasa was selected as one of the '100 Best Places to work in Latin
America” out of around 900 organizations from
Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Brazil. The method used
to evaluate firms gave a 75% weight to the results of a survey with employees.
The remaining 25% come from information obtained by the Great Place to Work
Culture Audit, in a broad report on sales, headcount, turnover, human
development and social responsibility programs, to name a few, and from on-site
inspections by Exame magazine.

BRAZIL
Once again, Serasa was ranked in the Exame - Você S/A Guide to “The Best Places
to Work”. The ranking involved hundreds of applicant firms and its analysis
stages included Serasa's people management policies and qualitative surveys
with employees, in addition to a consensus meeting of researchers, Great Place
to Work Institute consultants and journalists.
ONE OF THE BEST PLACES FOR WOMEN TO WORK IN
BRAZIL
For the second consecutive time, Serasa was part of this select group. The
ranking was first prepared in 2003, at the initiative of Editora Abril. These
achievements are the fruit of Serasa's successful management model that
appreciates professionals, and of the resulting principles. This is reflected
on people’s satisfaction with their workplace, on the
career opportunities made available and on the ratio of women employed.
TOP SOCIAL
Serasa won an award in the 6th edition of ADVB's Top Social, with the
case “Social Action: Serasa Volunteer Day”. The purpose of the award is to
publicly acknowledge programs and actions implemented by organizations that
show vision of the importance of social development as a fundamental factor for
growth, taking a citizen stance,ceasing to pursue
profits alone in order to include playing the role of social activist.
TOP SOCIAL NORTHEAST
In 2004 Serasa was selected a winner of ADVB Northeast's Top Social with the
case “The Magic of Laughter”, the name given to a Volunteer Team of the Serasa
Social Process dedicated to entertaining children and senior citizens through
circus acts.
HR TOP
Serasa won HR Top 2004 with the case “Knowledge Center”. Created in 1992,
ADVB's HR Top acknowledges organizations that achieve quality and
competitiveness gains by means of their employees and that make appropriate use
of people management strategies and policies.
MOTIVA SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AWARD
Serasa was granted the EMPRESA LEGAL® seal, given by the Motiva Institute for
Community Education and Local Development. Motiva is a Non-Governmental
Organization founded in the year 2000 by a group of São Paulo businessmen to
develop, with support from the Public and Private sectors, social projects
specifically intended to imparting employable skills to
impaired individuals.
The Motiva Social Responsibility Award aims to publicly
acknowledge social actions implemented by organizations as well as to
illustrate compliance with environmental, social, labor and tax laws, the
principles of the universal declarations of human rights and the UN's
conventions on children's rights.
SOCIAL SEAL: "THIS FIRM HELPS SÃO
PAULO"
Serasa was awarded the “This Firm Helps São Paulo” seal for its support to the
Boracéa Workshop Project. The seal was presented by Mayor Marta Suplicy, during
the meeting titled “The social dimension of public-private partnerships –
Companies adding value to the Mayorship's social projects”, whose goal is to
disseminate the experiences of partner firms and encourage new
institutions to join, based on a debate on the potential of the relationship
between the Public and Private spheres.
CORPORATE ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Serasa ranked among the ten companies with the most potential for corporate
enterprise (intra-entrepreneurship) in Brazil, in the first Brazilian ranking
of its kind. This acknowledgement is the result of a joint survey by the
Institute of Intra-Entrepreneurship – IBIE, the Federal University of Rio de
Janeiro and Pinchot & Co.
This status was only possible thanks to an internal
environment that fosters development and the exercise of innovation and
creativity, which Serasa employees perceive as one of the main reasons for the
firm's success.
MARKETING BEST SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY
With the case "The Magic of Laughter ", Serasa was acknowledged as an
organization that considers, respects, promotes and shows social responsibility
and won the Marketing Best Social Responsibility Award, given by Fundação
Getulio Vargas (FGV-SP), Editora Referência and Madia Mundo Marketing
School.
"THE SUCCESSFUL" AWARD
The annual "The Successful" awards acknowledged Serasa's efforts
resulting in the strengthening of the economy and the stock market, with
emphasis on the positive reference file on firms. The award, the most important
in the Brazilian stock markets area, has been held for the past 15 years by
Banco Hoje magazine in partnership with the stocks and commodities exchanges.
Selection of Serasa took place at the assembly of the Jury, made up of entities
representing all of the segments operating in the stock market.

Serasa won the 34th edition of ADVB's Marketing Top with the case “Tele-sales:
a Strategic Sales Force-Optimizing Channel”.
MARKETING BEST
Given by Fundação Getulio Vargas, Editora Referência and Madia Mundo Marketing
School for the case “Serasa Digital Certification for Foreign Exchange
Contracts”.
