National Quality Award (Prêmio Nacional da Qualidade)
With its accomplishment at the turn of the century, Serasa became the first –
and only – company to be twice decorated with the award that best represents
recognition of Excellence in Business Management in Brazil.
Granted by Fundação para o Prêmio Nacional da Qualidade,
PNQ is based on the notorious criteria used by the Baldrige award in the United
States, by the Deming award in Japan and by other internationally recognized
awards, giving winners the status of World Class Companies.
These companies have in common the
constant pursuit of quality in regard not only to their products but to every
aspect of their management including leadership,
strategic planning, processes and products, human resources management, and a
concern with meeting customer needs and legal requirements, with playing an
active role in the community, and with constantly surpassing previous
results.
In 1995, Serasa had already been the first fully Brazilian
company to be awarded the PNQ.

Granted in October 1997 by Fundação Carlos Alberto Vanzolini, certifying the
Quality Assurance System of the CONCENTRE Process. ISO 9002 a Quality and
reliability statement recognized by markets the world over.

One of the Great Places to Work in
Brazil
For the second year in a row, Serasa was appointed by Guia Exame as one of the
"Great Places to Work ".
This choice, certified by the Great Place to Work
Institute, is proof of the adoption of best practices and policies in the area
of human development. The analysis was based on a survey with 300 employees and
complemented by detailed interviews.
Corporate Citizenship
Serasa was one of 10 companies nominated by "Guia Exame de Boa Cidadania
Corporativa 2000", a pioneering publication by Grupo Exame whose purpose is
to acknowledge remarkable social responsibility actions taken by
organizations.
